2017 August: JMG has been accepted into the Emerging Sources Citation Index. The ESCI is an expanded index for journals under evaluation for admission to the Social Sciences Citation Index. Journals accepted to the ESCI have already undergone a rigorous review and approval process, and will be indexed in the Web of Science, although they will not receive an Impact Factor yet

2016 July: JMG has been assigned the “A” rank status in the Italian ANVUR (National Agency of the University System Evaluation and Research) journal quality rankings
