On the 5th of October 2022, at 13.00-15.00 CET, an on-line seminar discussing the “The future of standard-setting and reporting in the public sector” is organized as part of the online series of European Accounting Association (EAA). The online seminar will host a round table which will bring together reputable scholars and practitioners with more than one hats:
Ian Carruthers, Carolyn Cordery, Susana Jorge, Francesca Manes Rossi, Nils Soguel and John Verrinder will critically discuss the scope of financial and non-financial standards and their expected evolution for the public sector as well as their proposals regarding the governance of the standards with a special focus on the role of academics in this process. Organizers and moderators of the event are Isabel Brusca, Mariafrancesca Sicilia, Sandra Cohen and Ileana Steccolini.
